Seven Great Tropical Wall Decors

Wednesday, January 7th, 2009

The interior wall of a room, house, or office is practically a blank canvas. By putting some artwork on it, you can add character to any place in the house. That artwork can be a beautiful design painted over a part or the entirety of the wall; a sculpture, a painting, a picture, or a mosaic hung over it; or even an artful display of light projected on the wall.

One of the best themes of wall d?cor art is a tropical theme. This theme goes very well with houses, condominium units, studio rooms, and apartments on the beachfront.

There are many decorative wall d?cor items on sale that gives a wall a beautiful tropical theme. Here are some of them that you can order through the Internet.

1. Palm Grove Wall Art Set

This is a two-piece wall panel set from the Palm Grove Collection. The resin set features Sago palm shaded with warm, tropical colors of palm green, sage, and bisque. The frame is bordered square shapes made of faux coconut shell. A set costs around $129.

2. Finches in Tropical Foliage Metal Wall Sculpture

This beautiful sculpture features three Gouldian finches top of foliage of tropical plants. The foliage includes papaya colored orchids and fruitwood for added dimension. The tropical wall decor, which costs around $94, is handcrafted and hand-painted by Joanne Ferrara.

3. Tropica Three-Piece Wall Art

This framed sculpture consists of three panels with stunning works of art. Lush tropical leaves are formed from welded metal with shades of greens, browns and tans. The frame is made of bronze with an antiquated tone. A whole set includes one large 31-by-19-inch frame, and two smaller 31-by-11-inch frames. A set costs $56.

4. Beach Room Faux Window

Even if your home is not in the tropics or is not located on a beachfront, you can still incorporate a tropical theme to it. The beach room faux window frame constitutes a tropical beachfront view through an open window. In other words, it is like looking through a tropical ocean through a window! The artwork is original and features a pretty color palette.

5. Sea Shapes

This simple but handsome d?cor features a nautilus shell. The border is silver in tone while the background features a calm sea green color. It is covered in tough clear acrylic which is shatterproof.

6. Three Dimensional Tropical Fish

For a really unique tropical wall d?cor, try this new Outer Edges home d?cor. The set, which consists of sculpted wooden fish, is hand painted and three dimensional. The colorful tropical fish can be installed on any wall very easily. When placed on wallpaper with a marine theme, it would look like fish swimming on your walls. This is indeed a very unique d?cor.

7. Isle Tropical Mural

This large mural can cover an entire wall. That means, every time you wake up facing the wall, you will face a peaceful lush seashore with tall palm trees, blue waters, verdant hills, and cotton clouds. It can act as a wallpaper.

Wonderful Windows

Wednesday, January 7th, 2009

What single feature does almost every house have in common? Unless you’re living in an industrial loft space, your home’s interior most certainly includes a window with a view. Windows of all sizes allow your rooms to be bathed in natural daylight. The larger the window opening, the more light you’ll enjoy, as well as the illusion of bringing the outdoors inside to visually expand your living space.

The question becomes, should you cover your windows? There are many practical reasons to obscure your window openings. Privacy in a bedroom or bathroom is usually desired, so naturally, covering the window is required. Options abound to treat your windows such as draperies, blinds, or shades. Which is your best option is determined by the look you desire.

If you have a terrific view and would rather not hide it, opt for blinds or a shade that can be closed only when needed. When opened, either option will virtually disappear and not detract from your view. Choose a color that blends with your wall or window frames. For an accent, coordinate a short valance at the top of the window in another color used in the room. This also hides the hardware of the blinds or shade.

If your view is less than lovely, or if you prefer the softness that fabric brings to a room, consider covering your windows with draperies. In order to open the draperies to let in the daylight it requires some planning when selecting the sizes. If your window is forty eight inches wide, and your draperies are the same size, they will barely cover the window space. Additionally, when pushed open, the gathered drapery fabric on each side will obscure a large part of the window.

The solution is to attach a drapery rod that extends beyond the window on both sides. The draperies must be selected to fit the rod length, not the window size. Allow extra fabric to wrap around the edges of the rod as well as to overlap in the center when closed. This technique will stack the drapery fabric beyond the window when the draperies are open to preserve your view. An added bonus, your window will look larger than its actual size.

Draperies contribute warmth to the room by acting as a layer of insulation in front of the glass. They also create psychological warmth by concealing the cold blackness an uncovered window presents at night.

Fabric choices for draperies are limitless. But don’t be overwhelmed. Consider what you want to accomplish. First, select a fabric that coordinates with the colors you have chosen for the room. Have you already used a patterned fabric on the furniture? A solid color choice for the draperies will blend but not visually compete with the other fabrics. A color that is used in the area rug will marry the floor and window surfaces together. Of course, you may use the identical fabric on furniture and draperies, but be aware of the potential busyness that may create.

Next, determine if you like the simplicity of draperies hanging on either side of the window, as compared to the more formal look of draperies that are fastened back from the window into a swag effect. To create a focal point with your window treatment, add a swag valance above the draperies.

If covering your windows is unimportant, try some unusual decorative options. Create an arrangement of plants on assorted heights of stands in front of the window. Add some hanging planters above for variety. The plants will enjoy the daylight as you transition your outdoor view inside. Or, position a freestanding decorative screen to partially cover a window. The opaque screen draws attention to the window but doesn’t overpower the window and the view.

Windows, simple or elaborate, are your opportunity to see your outside world in a new way by decoratively framing your interior view.

Where to Find the Best Tacky Mats

Wednesday, January 7th, 2009

Almost everyone has been told by their mothers to wipe their feet before coming inside. By that same token, almost everyone has forgotten to do so and left a trail of dirt and mess as they walked through the house. If you want to keep a truly clean home, wiping your feet on the doormat before entering is a big help.

However, we all know that doormats don’t get the bottom of your shoes completely clean. How do we know this? The floors need mopping and the carpet needs vacuuming all too soon, even in a house where feet are wiped upon each entry.

If you want to know that your floors are clean enough to eat off of, you need a tacky mat. Tacky mats are not your average door mat. These high tech mats actually remove all dirt and debris from your shoes and some are even equipped to sanitize your shoes.

As you can imagine, tacky mats were not invented for the obsessive compulsive home owner. Tacky mats are most often used in business, labs, and clean rooms in which the area needs to be kept completely clean and sanitary. Tacky mats keep those entering the area from carrying germs, dirt, and debris into the room along with their shoes.

But just how do these wonder mats work their magic? How Tacky mats work has remained a mystery for many, but it’s actually quite simple. In fact, the name ‘tacky mat’ is a big clue as to how tacky mats work to eliminate shoe bottom filth.

Also known as sticky mats, tacky mats are comprised of layer upon layer of adhesive film. The highly powerful adhesive on the film effectively removes dirt, grime, and even grease from the bottoms of shoes, bare feet, wheels, and even animal paws. The adhesive in tacky mats is not your average sticker glue. You might say that it’s adhesive on steroids!

Many tacky mat manufacturers also include anti-microbial germicide that also kills germs. Not only are floors free of dirt and debris, but you can feel confident that your floors and rooms are sanitary and safe.

Best of all, when your tacky mat is full of dirt and debris, a fresh layer of adhesive is just a few minutes away. Simply peel away the top layer to reveal a fresh mat of industrial strength adhesive. Many tacky mats have as many as thirty layers to ensure you never run out of cleanliness. You never have to wash, clean or maintain your tacky mat.

Tacky mats are even used in hospitals to ensure the highest levels of sanitation and cleanliness. When used in the home, tacky mats help you keep a fresh and sanitary home without additional cleaning time on your part.

For home owners and business owners that want to work smarter and not harder, but still want to maintain a clean and sanitary space, tacky mats are a very valuable tool. You’ll love knowing that your tacky mat is working on your behalf to keep your home and your business clean.

Be A Fan Of Fans

Wednesday, January 7th, 2009

There is no doubt that heat is bothersome to many. It doesn’t matter if the heat is from a hot stuffy room or the sun beating down on you while you are at the beach. Heat that we are exposed to on a daily basis is either dry heat or moist heat. Dry heat is troublesome because it makes breathing difficult as you try to pull hot dry air into your lungs. Moist heat, which is called humidity, can cause rapid dehydration due to excessive sweating.

No matter which type of air you are exposed to, heat can affect your thinking ability, and makes everyday tasks that would have been easier in cooler weather, harder to perform. For those who live in hot, humid climates, summer heat can be oppressive. Often the only solution is to spend the day confined ito an air-conditioned room.

In these economic times, air conditioning may be a luxury few can afford. Running an air conditioning unit can be expensive. Add to that the purchase cost, maintenance, and the need for routine cleaning; air conditioning may not be an option for the poor or elderly. Fixed incomes may not be able to handle the cost of running an air conditioning unit on a regular basis.

If dealing with the heat doesn’t give you a headache, your monthly electric bill while using an air conditioner certainly will. A relatively inexpensive alternative to air conditioning is the use of electric fans. Fans are inexpensive to purchase, fairly easy to install, and easy to maintain. They are inexpensive to repair and replacement costs are low. During times of extreme heat, arranging your fans properly can help you bring in cool air and keep warm air out of the home.

Choosing the proper type of fan for your circumstances is important. There are 4 basic types of fans that you can choose to effectively cool your home.

A pedestal fan can be adjusted to various speeds and its height can also be controlled, so you can direct the air to the area where you are working.

A box fan is a smaller electric fan with a rotating face. This type fan is designed to push air and then circulate it into different parts of a room.

A ceiling fan, as its name implies, hangs from a ceiling and pushes cool air downwards.

The final type of fan is an exhaust fan that is built into a wall. This type fan helps air circulate, especially in closed surroundings such as warehouses, attics or garages.

All four of these types of electric fans can help lower your electric bill.

Air conditioning units operate by using cooling fluids and it takes much more energy to convert hot outside air to cool air and to remove water vapor from the air. Fans, on the other hand, just circulate air around the room and use much less electricity.

When shopping for a fan, choose a brand that is inexpensive but carries and energy star rating. This will give you a fan that gives you the most power, while using the least amount of energy.

In order to achieve maximum benefit from a fan, be sure they are properly located. You don’t want to bring additional warm air into the home where it is not wanted. Drawing air in from the sunny side of the home will only increase the discomfort level.

Tips to Cool Your Home Using Fans

The following tips will help you use your fans effectively to cool your home.

Use cross ventilation. You shouldn’t need a fan going in every room to cool your home. By placing a powerful fan in one room and then opening any adjoining doors, you can direct the fan to blow the air to the next rooms. Placing an exhaust fan high on the ceiling will also help to keep air in constant motion. To cross ventilate a home, open any windows that arent’ facing the sun to allow cool air to enter.

By closing windows that are facing the sun, and shielding them with curtains, you can lower the temperature of your room quicker. Position electric fans perpendicular to open windows, so any incoming air is circulated immediately. On calm, windless days, position the fan at the other end of the room, facing the window.

If it is very hot and humid, then an electric fan may do you little good on its own. If you have an air conditioning unit, turn it on low cool or fan mode, then use the electric fan to circulate the hot air. On its own, the air conditioning unit will take up more energy as the humid air will be difficult to cool. The electric fan, on its own, will use more energy, as it will have to be operated at higher, faster settings, and for a longer time, before it can finally cool the air.

Running fans in rooms that are not occupied is not an energy efficient way to use a fan. If a room is not use, close the door and turn off the fan. Remember to open the door in the evening when it is cooler to allow air circulation so a buildup of mold is not created, especially in humid conditions.

Anything You Can Think of Cordless Black & Decker

Wednesday, January 7th, 2009

What do you think of when you think of cordless Black & Decker? You may think of small cordless screwdrivers or wimpy tools you only find at discount stores. While I don’t think of cordless Black & Decker tools as industrial grade tools, they really have a wide variety of tools that you will find handy around the house, cabin or lake home.

The cordless Black & Decker lineup contains everything from you basic cordless screwdriver, to cordless drills, cordless scissors, tools for yard work including cordless mowers, hedge trimmers, weed trimmers and more. I have one of the cordless Black & Decker weed trimmers and while it doesn’t have the power of my gas weed trimmer, it has more than enough to trim up around the house and it always starts. The gas trimmers that I have had typically work for a couple of seasons and then I have to rebuild the carb to keep it running.

One of the really neat tools I noticed in the cordless Black & Decker line is a chainsaw called the Alligator. This tool is a small cordless chainsaw with a clamp below the blade that bites down on the wood you are cutting. It really does look like an alligator! They also have a regular cordless chainsaw and a chainsaw that you can extend up on a pole to cut off limbs a little higher up. Again, these cordless Black & Decker tools don’t look like something you would use every day but still, I they have some tools I have never even seen.

Maybe you are looking for a cordless screwdriver for you hobby shop or your camper. Again the cordless Black & Decker line up has several for you to chose from. You can get a very inexpensive tool that will be handy here and there or if you want something with a little more power, try their lithium screw drivers. Lithium tools offer more run time and power in a lighter weight tool that can charge very fast. Some of these tools have LED lights on them making them handy when working in dark corners, maybe like removing hinges inside a cabinet.

They also handle a variety of drills. While I still prefer having my heavy duty Bosch drill at my side, a smaller less powerful drill will work just fine around the house. While most of the cordless Black & Decker drills are fairly reasonably priced, you can afford to have one in your camper, your cabin or lake home. Many of times these tools are more than ample for simple odd jobs around the home like hanging pictures or drilling a small hole to run a cord or something else simple like this. If you do want a little more power, the cordless Black & Decker line includes 24 volt tools available in a combo kit.

One other tool that I guess you can call a cordless Black & Decker tool is their self adjusting wrench. This crescent wrench adjusts to the bolt head with just a touch. I have read a couple of reviews and while some have been able to break them, many felt they were very handy around the house.

So there you have it, a few thoughts on the cordless Black & Decker tool line up. This really doesn’t do their line up justice. You just won’t believe the cordless Black & Decker tools available.

You can find all the cordless Black & Decker line up at www.protoolguide.com

Top 7 Cost Effective Home Improvement Tips

Tuesday, January 6th, 2009

Home improvement can be a tricky subject because it can either require a home equity line of credit just to finish one job or it can be done on a shoestring budget and still look great. Assuming you are pushing for the latter of the two and want to get the most home improvement for every dollar put in here are seven great (cost effective) home improvement tips that are sure to increase the value of your home when you put it up for sale.

Fiber Cement Siding - Fiber cement siding is becoming one of the most popular alternatives to vinyl siding because it inherits all of the attractive features of wood siding with none of the flaws. For example, fiber cement siding is low maintenance, fire and termite resistant and holds paint color for seven to fifteen years.

Add a Wood or Composite Deck - Wood decks tend to generate a better return on investment than composite decking but you can expect wood to be higher maintenance so it’s worth weighing your options on maintenance versus initial price. Either way, adding a deck to your home will give you additional square footage outside of your home and increase the value of your home among potential home buyers.

New Vinyl Windows - If you have an older home one of the most promising home improvements is in your windows. Replace drafty or aging windows with vinyl windows which are cost effective, look great and are low maintenance.

Minor Kitchen Remodel - Sometimes a home improvement project doesn’t need to be a full scale military project. Updating your kitchen can be as simple as replacing the countertops with a more modern surface like granite, changing cabinets with a moderately priced new set and upgrading your appliances to newer and typically more quiet stainless steel appliances.

Attic to Bedroom Conversion - Wasted space such as an attic can be a great way to expand your home’s livable space without having to build beyond the home’s original footprint. One of the most popular ways to convert an attic to living space is by turning it into a bedroom or master suite with bathroom and walk-in closets.

Finish Your Basement - Similar to an attic project, basements also span the width of most of your home and offer up a tremendous amount of space to use. If you have a basement with at least seven feet of floor to ceiling height you should be able to turn the dusty, underused part of your home into a recreation room or guest suite. Every town varies on how extensive they will allow a basement renovation become so check with your local town officials and get the proper permits before starting.

Add Landscaping - Landscaping is super simple and an inexpensive way to increase your home’s curb appeal dramatically. Although you can go crazy with landscaping your home will benefit most from a walkway to the front door complete with plantings on both sides, fencing in the back yard and plantings that run the length of the driveway.

Home improvement is an exciting journey that will exercise your creative freedom and, with good planning, won’t cost you an arm and a leg to do. Using the list above as a guide you can improve many key parts of your home that will give you a marked increase in your home’s value the day you put your home on the market.

Tuesday, January 6th, 2009

Home improvement costs can be quite steep but by following a few simple steps you can help to cut the costs and save your self a fortune. Budgeting is very important when it comes to home improvements as many people find themselves constantly spending money even though the project is just almost done.

Always try and spend as much as you can on materials though but don’t be silly with the money, materials follow the law that if it is expensive it is good. Although it may not be worth what you are about to pay for it and you can probably find it cheaper elsewhere but if it means that then its going to be better than the cheaper item sitting next to it!

Budgeting is crucial, always budget for more than you are willing to spend that way if something comes up like an extra cost somewhere or something was more work than was thought out then you are prepared for it. If you don’t budget then you will keep on spending and keep on forgetting where all the money is going. It is always the little things that bite you in the backside, little things like wallpaper expenditure and tiling are usually always forgetting about so make sure you are not part of the norm.

Home improvement costs are easily cut down by making sure you only buy what you need, there is no point purchasing something that you’re never going to use. That would just be silly and wasting money! Costs are a very if not the most important factor in any home improvement project basically because you need money to get the job done, you cant get anything for free these days but you can minimize on the cost of things by a great deal by budgeting!

At the end of the day you don’t have to go for the most expensive bath suite of the nicest plushest carpet, all you have to do is make sure that your home is what you want and is comfortable for you and you family to enjoy it, sometimes money is power but not always and home improvement is in the not always category! That of course is the main part of any home improvement project.

Basement Mold - How to Seek and Destroy It

Tuesday, January 6th, 2009

Why do most people have basement mold? The answer is rather simple, actually. Most of the houses that experience the occurrence of basement mold are likely to have leaks in their basements or unseen water entry ways. This wet or humid environment is ideal for the growth of mold. In fact, many basements have mold, but the homeowners never even know it!

What we have learned about mold is the fact that it thrives in moist, damp environments and that the darkness further creates a great place for mold to grow in. So what better place than in a damp and dark basement to settle in, right?

Once you spot even just a small amount of mold in your basement you should begin looking for a leak in your pipes or somewhere that water might be seeping through into your basement. Check all the edges and corners as well as around the water heater and all the joints on your pipes. The sooner you find these leaks, get them fixed and kill the mold that is already there, the lower the chances of it spreading to other places in your home.

Having just a small amount of basement mold visible to the eye shouldn’t make you feel complacent about the situation. The thing is, there might be hidden mold behind the walls, under the carpeting and even in the ceiling. Mold can spread through spores so once you have it in one spot, it can be spread to other areas. If there is a place that is attractive for mold growth, it’s a sure bet that the mold spores will find it.

So when you do a check, make sure that you cover everything. Getting rid of just the visible mold in your basement will only be a temporary fix if you don’t also fix the water problem. You might consider getting a dehumidifier once you get rid of the existing mold and fix the leaks as basements, by nature, can be rather humid even without leaking water.

Mold can be rather persistent and, since it likes dark places, it can “hide” in areas where you might not find it so it is important that you take the steps to create an unfriendly environment for it. Keeping things neat and organized as well as stored in sealed containers can help a lot. If you have anything with fabric such as tents, or the cushions from patio furniture, you should check these periodically for mildew as once a bit of dampness gets into these fabrics, storing them in the basement can be a disaster for them and once fabrics get mildew or mold, you are unlikely to ever be able to get it out.

It’s no fun having basement mold, but if you take action when you first notice it than you will run much less of a risk of your mold problem getting out of hand. Not only is mold unpleasant to smell and look at, but it can also have adverse health effects so getting rid of it fast should be a priority.

Home Decorating - It’s All Black & White

Tuesday, January 6th, 2009

You’ve seen the photos of designer rooms decorated simply in black and white.

Could you? Would you?

Why Not?

There’s an ease in simplicity. Limited choices are easier to select. It’s either black or white. The starkness of this designer look may cause you to shy away. But think about the ultimate utility of the little black dress or crisp white shorts in your wardrobe. They are so indispensible because of all the choices you have to put with these basic colors.

Your room of basics can be thought of the same way. Begin your designer look room with a white shell. Walls, flooring, door and window trim all in white. Introduce the companion color black as an area rug. Or reverse the strategy with a black or checkerboard design in the floor accented with a fluffy, white flokati area rug.

Furniture pieces of black leather are classic, while white leather is an unexpected yet appropriate choice. Select other fabrics in black and white patterns for furniture or draperies. With just two colors in the mix, you may add a variety of different patterns without being overwhelmed. Be sure to include different textures of fabric for interest.

Black and white photographs in simple black frames create an interesting and timeless wall display. Add few black and white accessories and your basic wardrobe of a room is complete.

Now the fun begins. If you’re eyes are longing for color, go all out, with one other color. To preserve the simplicity of the minimalist color palette, add only one other color as an accent and watch what happens.

How about red? This warm color will melt the coolness of the neutral combination, yet bring out the intensity of the contrasting colors. Add red in the wall art, pillows, vases, and glassware. Introduce an area rug combining red and black or red and white.

Just as with your wardrobe basics, any other color works well combined with black and white. Blue, green, yellow, and purple. All the more reason collect a variety of single color accents so you’re ready to change the color environment of the room whenever you choose.

This color strategy works well for any room in your home. A kitchen with white cabinets, flooring and countertop is fertile ground for utilizing color basics. Small appliances and cookware are commonly in black. Add a black window blind, cabinet handles and area rug to establish the neutral basics. Then add your chosen accent color in easily changed items, such as potholders, kitchen towels, a tea kettle, canisters or cookie jar. Now you have a color basic, designer kitchen with pizzazz.

Bathrooms with white fixtures are common. Make the bath space uncommon with a black tile on the floor or walls. A small scale black and white print on the window curtain, a white area rug and black towel bars create your basic background. Simply add your choice of towel color, some decorative soaps or decanters, and another room is done.

This basic color scheme, though often seen with contemporary interiors, works equally as well with a traditional d?cor. Wood furniture and elaborate trim can be painted white or stained a deep ebony color. Traditional fabric prints, such as toile scenes, checks and plaids are always available in the black and white combination.

Be on the lookout for interesting black or white furniture and accessories to add sophistication to your basic rooms. Undistracted by color, the form of the piece takes on an importance and gives a timeless quality to any item that is black or white. Your basic color rooms will look as new in years to come as they do today.

Go bold with black and white decorating. Start at the floor with these black and white rugs from www.HouseOfAreaRugs.com and work up. This dramatic Nolita 1310 Black And White rug is sure to bring life to your room.

Tips For Cleaning Your Gas Grills Quickly and Safely!

Tuesday, January 6th, 2009

Last month a friend of mine applied sprayed on oven cleaner, but while trying to rinse it off outdoor with the water hose, the grass died. That puts forth a question to how safe it is to use these oven cleaners.

You would potentially not wish to use any oven cleaner something like that because it is quite very taxing on your nerves to get all of the chemical washed away and once again really put your food flat upon those grates whilst broiling. Does not sound a real good idea, does it?

Here are some healthier alternative methods that you could try out instead!

What you can do is just get going the grill and let the grates get rattling raging. Then scour them down with a wire brush. Employ few metallic pair of tongs to force them off the grill and then hose them down. That way you don’t need to use any strong soap or detergents!

Another common way a lot of people usually employ is not cooking food directly on the grate. They’d rather put aluminum foil over the grate. However, in case you would like to have a clean looking grate for show, apply the oven cleanser but wash out the grate inwardly, maybe in your shower or sink. There’s a little disputation over expending Mr. Clean magic eraser, those are sold at Wal-Mart, Winn Dixie, jolly much anyplace. Some have laid claim that they are life threatening to be utilized because they contain formaldehyde, a potentially risky chemical used to preserve dead bodies! Even so, you will be able to rest assured that the factual chemical component is formaldehyde-melamine-sodium bisulfite copolymer, which is not in any case equivalent to precisely formaldehyde (methanal)! Therefore, in reality does not pose any heath risk if employed according to the instructions given!

Yet another choice for this is your applying your own laving liquid, baking powder, and a wire brush. First, soak the grates in adequate warm water , just so it cover them, then add up the baking powder, leave alone for about10 minutes approximately then wash off with your washing up liquid.

A different dependable commercial cleaner you could use is Grease Bullet, a non-toxic cleanser that’s hard on grease, but gentle on your hands! Simply fill up your sink with hot tap water, expend in the Grease Bullet, and douse your worst broiled on grills. In barely minutes, it will glisten like brand-new, inside and out, without any further scrubbing up! It cuts across begrimed surfaces and even charred grill grates! Equipped with enzymes that erode hardened on grime and stain, Grease Bullet can get your gas grill look as if new once again!

For more tips, head to a top search engine like DogPile.com. Type in keywords like, “grill cleaning tips” and read articles that turn up in listings. Print out those you want to keep and place them in a notebook for handy reference.
